Progressive Web App

BeePow 🐝

Built with the perfect recipe for connecting local restaurants, bars, coffee shops and parks to its local community inhabitants. BeePow keeps local communities buzzing along by deliberately bringing awareness to local businesses within walking distance.

Why build it

BeePow was created to make discovering local hangouts a breeze. Often times finding a new place to eat, drink or relax causes more stress to the consumer than intended.

When searching for a new place to eat or drink, consumers’ are habitually bombarded with a multitude of complicated restaurant finder apps forcing you to sign-in, disgruntled ex-employee reviews, and search engine rankings, pushing local businesses to be over looked.

With a quick, no-sign-in necessary access this application easily presents a list of restaurants, bars, coffee shops and parks within walking distance to your location.

BeePow solves the "Where Should We Eat?" argument once and for all.

Bee-hind the scenes

Birthed from a conversation between LaPraim Founder and CEO, Ricky LaPraim and Business Development Director, Lindi DiMaio, BeePow quickly became an internal agency-wide project that has sparked a new level of creativity in every team member of LaPraim.

Our agency took a fully-integrated approach when building BeePow. Teammates Keith Pittman and Mely Cantu spearheaded this project and saw it through completion. Through name development, branding and app development, BeePow was born.
